Great Fundraising Ideas Don’t Have to be Difficult
There are some great fundraising ideas out there to be found. Especially for groups that are considered to be on the smaller side of the scale. Like the local school your children attend or the neighborhood little league your son plays baseball for. If you need to raise some money for the kids, there are some great fundraising ideas just a click away.
Are you looking for an idea to raise money for a good cause? There are many people out there with experience that have great fundraising ideas and can give you some help and good advice. It isn’t as difficult as some would lead you to believe. One idea that is popular with many is having a bake sale. I have gone through the motions with that concept before and never will again.
With all the great fundraising ideas out there, I feel that idea is one of the most difficult. You would have thought these people were planning an eight course meal for a group of fifty or more. You have to decide who is willing to participate first. Getting a list of names and what they can offer for the event. I began to ask myself, “Is this one of those great fundraising ideas?”
While we were going through the list I heard comments back and forth about who was good at baking in the kitchen and even more about who was not. What type of table should be used and the size we would need. The type of table cloth that would be best and the color of it. I was pulling my hair out at this point. Telling myself, “When I was thinking about great fundraising ideas, I did not expect all of this.”
When I thought everything had been covered, to my surprise, we were only halfway done. Decisions had to be made on where it would be held and the best time of day to have it. I felt like I was with a bunch of women shopping for flowers or shoes. At that time I thought to myself, “There has to be other great fundraising ideas out there that do not require all this stress.”
It could be for a business, a school or any type of group or organization that is non profit and just needs to raise some funds. There are great fundraising ideas out there that do not require all this hassle. So when I got home that evening, I decided to look online for some ideas. I came across quite a few.
There are some great fundraising ideas that require making a few, simple decisions and nothing more. Like getting a table to setup and a place where you can hold it like a shopping center. Getting some type of material to offer those who donate was the easy part. I found one with a manual that I think everybody should have a copy of. When I spoke of some the great fundraising ideas out there, I found this one with a little research.
This is what I was looking for. It required a little investment to purchase the manuals ahead of time. Which we got a good discount on because we were a non profit group.
