How much does a normal high school football team train?
I live in Ohio and go to the D2 State Champion high school. i am in eighth grade now and have done weightlifting, running, going over plays etc. for the ninth grade season pretty much every day since february. I was just wondering if other high schools do that, or do we work harder than most (we have the best football team in the area)

Depends on the state. Most states set the amount of off season training a team can do. Most of the teams in Ohio are probably training as much as you do. Or at least the good ones are. I know in Okla and Texas boy get their first football in kindergarden and don’t really stop training until they graduate. haha. Or at least it seems that way.
